Funded!!

It is with great pleasure that I let you know that all of the funds necessary for my trip have been raised!  I’ve been overwhelmed by the generosity of those who have supported my financially as well as the tremendous support that is being offered to my family while I am away.

I’ve spoken with some people who have expressed that they would still like to support me in my journey and for that I am grateful but because I am no longer in need of the finances, I’d like to propose an alternative.

Over the past while the Director of Africa Arise has been injured in three different boda accidents.  The work of the ministry requires regular transportation to and from Gulu in the north from Kampala, and Africa Arise has found itself to be in need of their own vehicle in order to ensure safe transportation.

If you’ve been planning on supporting my trip financially, would you consider directing those funds toward the purchase of a vehicle?
